Review of 25th Anniversary Christmas Concert
Questors Choir performed a very festive 25th Anniversary Christmas Concert at St Martin’s Church in West Acton on Saturday 11th December. Featuring traditional carols with joyous new arrangements specially composed by our talented Musical Director, Philip Norman, the programme also included a Polish lullaby and pieces by John Rutter, David Willcocks and the choir’s very own Betty Roe. There was even an opportunity for both choir and audience to learn a seasonal song from scratch: ‘When Christ Was Born on Christmas Day’ was written by the late Tim Godfrey, who founded Questors Choir back in 1986. It was a celebratory tribute to mark the choir’s silver jubilee! We look forward to many more performances reflecting our continuing range of musical styles in the years to come.
